The process flow of fixture processing is generally as follows

 
Material → milling → heat treatment → grinding → EDM → wire cutting → other (engraving MARK, mold number, surface printing, etc.) → assembly
 
(1) Material: It is a material of steel (or iron) before heat treatment, generally SKD11, SKD61, SUS420, SKH9, SKH51, S45C, VIKING, S136H, SK3 and so on. The sawing machine (vertical and horizontal) is used for the material, which does not require high precision. Besides, there are other materials such as non-steel, such as red copper (for electrode), bakelite, acrylic, PVC board (mainly used in jig), etc.
 
(2) Milling: Milling is also the processing before the sheep, it does not require high precision, it is mainly to process the material (the material after heat treatment is more difficult to process, requiring special tools). Its processing equipment are milling machines (horizontal milling machine, vertical milling machine universal milling machine, etc.) Its processing range: milling hexahedron. Break difference. (3) Heat treatment purpose: to improve the internal structure of steel, eliminate internal stress and deformation, so as to improve the strength, toughness, machinability, wear resistance, and beautification of steel. The work includes quenching. Quenching, Tempering. Annealing. Normalizing. Spheroidizing. Skin hardening and surface hardening. Heating temperature during heat treatment. Holding time. Cooling speed. (4) grinding process: grinding process is divided into rough grinding, semi-finishing grinding, finishing grinding. Rough grinding processing accuracy is not high, semi-fine grinding, especially fine grinding requires high precision generally within ± 0.002MM. The processing range: grinding hexahedra, planes, slots, breaks, chamfers, etc., the processing range is relatively wide. The grinding machines are: surface grinder, hand grinder, internal grinder, external grinder, centerless grinder, etc.)
 
(5) EDM: By generating pulsating electric sparks between the tool electrode and the workpiece, an instantaneous localized high temperature is generated to erode the metal surface. It is a process that cannot be processed by milling and grinding machines. Its processing range is wide: for example, processing of deep holes (round deep holes, square deep holes), slots or holes or other shapes of geometry, processing accuracy is high, but the efficiency is low.
 
(6) Wire-cutting: The principle of wire-cutting is the same as EDM, which removes metal through electro-erosion. It is a process that cannot be processed by other processes above, but it is more accurate and less efficient. Square holes. Tapered holes. It is often used for processing through holes (round holes, square holes, tapered holes, shaped holes) and external dimensions, slicing, etc. Generally, there are two types of machining: fast-walking and slow-walking. Fast-walking processing accuracy is not very high, generally in ±0.03MM: slow-walking processing accuracy is higher, generally in ±0.002MM.
 
(7) Others: A special processing process according to the customer's product requirements or the convenience of quality processing. Other processing range: Mark engraving, mold number, surface printing, etching, etc.
 
(8) Assembly: After quality inspection, the parts are assembled into fixtures by biotechnology, assembled into automatic machines by special project team, assembled into molds by clamps, and only after confirming that there is no abnormal quality, the case is considered closed.
 
The production personnel of the fixture processing shall not violate the process procedures or arbitrarily change the content of the process procedures, otherwise it will affect the product quality and disrupt the production order.
